LOVE Island star Tasha Ghouri was all smiles as she arrived at Strictly rehearsals to meet her professional dancer.
The 25-year-old, who shot to fame on the ITV2 dating show in 2022, was confirmed as one of the celebrities taking part of this year’s line-up earlier this week.
Tasha was seen in high spirits as she arrived at a dance studio in London yesterday for rehearsals.
The star looked stunning in a black tight unitard, brown jacket and white trainers.
She had a big black bag and suitcase in her hand.
Tasha opted for a natural make-up look and styled her hair into loose waves.
Some fans have pointed out that she has an unfair advantage due to having a dance background.
Tasha has competed in a number of major dance events before finding fame on Love Island.
She’s since had to defend her place on the show.
Tasha revealed: “I’ve not danced for quite a few years, since Love Island my career is so different.
“It’s such a different dance style, I may actually not be good at it, like ballet – I’m not good at ballet.
“I’m trained in commercial street style it’s going to be very hard but I’m excited for a challenge.”
Tasha was revealed as one of the signings in July, but it was only confirmed this week.
However she was ‘desperate’ to go on the show two years ago.
Speaking to On Demand Entertainment at the TV Choice Awards, she gushed: “It’s honestly one of my biggest dreams to do it so hopefully one day I’ll be able to do Strictly.”
When interviewer Lucy Jones raised concerns about her dancing history, Tasha explained: “I know but, do you know what? I’ve never actually trained in ballroom or salsa.
“I trained in commercial so I’ve never done all these styles before so it would be a challenge to me.
“I’ll probably have two left feet doing salsa. It’s a whole different ball game.”
Tasha rose to fame on Love Island two years ago.
She was the show’s first deaf contestant and has a cochlear implant.
The beauty found love with boyfriend Andrew Le Page and they are still together now.
